I recently stayed at a hotel in the Bavarian Alps and it was a delightful experience. the hotel had a charming mountain decor that truly transported me to a cozy alpine retreat. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with a mix of old and new furniture that gave a unique character to each room. Additionally, the views from the balconies were breathtaking, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding natural beauty. Lastly, the breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious and filled with a variety of tasty options to fuel me for the day ahead.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic and I couldn't find a single thing to fault.

I stayed in 5 hotels in Germany on my holiday and this hotel was the best. The pool and sauna were great and hardly used by others in the afternoon. The hotel was large and had ample parking and restaurant room inside and out. While it was a good 15 min walk to Berchtesgaden centre that did not matter as it was a pleasant walk with the mountains in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.
Having to sit at a specific table space for breakfast and evening meals seemed odd but not a problem really.

Very expensive for the quality (even if it might be the case for the whole neighbourhood): the rooms are correct but without much charm, the breakfast is made of very weak quality products (fruit juices mixed with water!, Very few ham and cheese, no sausage, while it is bavaria!, Etc), the internet costs 1 euro for 15 min, and the swimming pool does not smell so good. These are details, but given the price, one could expect more. In addition, one needs a bike or a car to go to the town center.

The hotel was in a great location, close to all the popular attractions and restaurants, making it easy to get around. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. the breakfast provided was delicious and had a good variety of dishes to choose from.
The Wi-Fi connection in the rooms was not very strong, making it difficult to connect to the internet at times. the noise level in the hallways could be a bit loud in the early mornings or late at night, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

This hotel is in a great location. It is about 20 minutes (walking) from downtown Berchtesgaden and a 2km drive from the Almbachklamm (gorge). The Salzwerk Salt Mines are very close as well and I had an amazing view from my balcony. Some of the other rooms have awesome views of the Kehlstein Haus (Eagles Nest). Breakfast was included and there was ample food to oad up before a day of hiking and climbing.

Good breakfast, comfortable beds.
The hotel is old and the rooms were pretty shabby. The location wasn't very good and you must pay for a slowly internet. In an other hotel I've used free internet without even being a hotel guest.

Located in a charming area, this hotel is close to several attractions and boasts clean, bright, and cozy rooms. the bathroom and shower facilities are updated and modern, and the pleasant staff provides outstanding service. Guests love waking up to the inclusive breakfast and are pleased with the quality of food offered. the hotel offers great amenities, such as a playground and a bar, which are perfect for unwinding and relaxing after a long day exploring.
One downside is the lacking playground for young children, but it's not a major issue.

Good location for the price. Nice views from balconies. A hotel with basic amenities. The bathrooms are very small and outdated. The food in the restaurant was very good. We enjoyed it. Breakfast was good.
We found the pillows and mattress smelling somewhat bad (musty).

The location is perfect for seeing all of the local attractions. You can see the Eagles Nest from the outside seating area of the bar/ restaurant. Staff are really friendly, the rooms are ok and the food was good.

Nothing! It was a horrible 4 nights!!!!
Almost everything wasn't as it should be, room was dirty and did not correspond with the pictures and descriptions on Booked.net. The room was slightly devastated (broken laps, dirty walls and curtains and horrible bathroom), after requesting a change of the room the receptionist (frankly an old hag) was trying to convince us that they are fully booked but when we told her we will not pay suddenly found a better room. Cleaning services are very poor, noisy and badly furnished (everything was squeaking etc. I'd date the furniture on early '70s). I do not recommend it to anybody!!!!!!

Great value for money, convenient location!
We stayed for three nights during our city trip and were pleasantly surprised by the great value for money. The hotel was conveniently located near public transportation, allowing us easy access to all the sights we wanted to see. Our room had a beautiful balcony with a stunning view and was cleaned regularly during our stay. We also loved the complimentary breakfast, which had a good variety of options to choose from.
There were a few downsides to our stay. While the hotel did have some amenities like a pool and sauna, they were quite outdated and not well-maintained. Additionally, the decor of the room felt very old-fashioned and could use a bit of an update. Despite these minor issues, we still enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend the hotel as a great budget option for travelers.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise! the value for money was outstanding - we got so much for what we paid. Secondly, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Lastly, the attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, from the cozy mountain décor to the provided computer. It's the little things that really make a difference.
Everything exceeded our expectations, nothing to improve.
